Alix Earle is officially stepping back into her dancing shoes—and this time, it’s on national TV. The TikTok it-girl just confirmed she’ll be competing on Dancing With the Stars Season 34, and honestly? It feels like the natural next move in her glow-up era.

The big reveal happened live on Good Morning America on Thursday, May 22, where the influencer and podcast host called the experience “so surreal.”

“I mean, I’ve always been a fan of Dancing With the Stars,” she said while walking onto the GMA stage. “I used to watch it when I was so young with my grandma … I was so in love with dance. When this opportunity came to me, it was like, ‘What can I do next? Where can I take this?’ I mean, I’m ready to challenge myself, I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun. It was a very obvious answer to say yes.”

If you’ve followed Alix since her “get ready with me” TikToks blew up, then you know this tracks. She’s always given confident main character energy—and now she’s taking that to the ballroom. Although she didn’t name names when asked about her dream partner, she made it clear she’s ready to vibe with whoever is by her side.

“I would be grateful to be with anyone,” she shared. “I think they’re all so talented. I’m looking for a partner who’s gonna be a good time, a good friend and really push me to be my best.”

And yes, she has actual dance experience—so don’t expect her to stumble through week one.

“I would like to say I have some rhythm,” she joked. “I’m excited to get back in there and get training.”

Alix, 24, is one of the most recognizable faces on TikTok, with over 7 million followers, plus 4 million more on Instagram. She launched her “Hot Mess” podcast in 2023 under Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network before parting ways earlier this year. She’s also made Forbes’ Top Creators and Fashion 50 lists, and now, she’s taking her brand to the ballroom.

Alix is the second celeb confirmed for this season—joining Robert Irwin, whose sister Bindi famously won the show in 2015. The rest of the cast (and the pro pairings) will be revealed soon, but one thing’s clear: this season is already delivering.
